She married James Christian Madsen on 20 February 1998 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara County, California.¹ Shawn Katherine Thomason is currently managing the office of a family owned fumigating business in 1999.

     Young Thomason married Adeline D. Gober, daughter of Dempsey Pope Conner Gober and Elizabeth Louisa Patterson. Young Thomason died in 1890 at Killed at his Blacksmitih shop by brother-in-law, Isaac Dempsey Gober, Tennessee.
