Mr. and Mrs. Claude Oliver Gober of Canton will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Sunday, February 13, 1955, and will be honored at Open House by their children at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Gober at 300 East Center Street. Mr. and Mrs. Gober are the parents of seven sons, four of whom are still living. They are Leon Gober, of Monroe, Louisiana; Ernest Gober of Canton, W. E. Gober of Canton and Claude Wilson Gober of Canton. W. E. Gober of Canton; and Claude Wilson Gober of Jackson. They have fifteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Their many friends are cordially invited to attend Open House in their honor Sunday afternoon, February 13th between the hours of three and five o'clock.¹ Eula S. Terry was buried at Canton, Madison County, Mississippi. She died in 1958.
