Niles Elihu Hendrix and Letha Floy Bramlett were divorced. Niles Elihu Hendrix died on 30 April 1948 at Levelland, Hockley County, Texas, at age 45. He was buried on 2 May 1948 at Levelland, Hockley County, Texas.

     Patti Jean Hendrix was born on 20 March 1938 at Big Springs, Howard County, Texas. She was the daughter of Niles Elihu Hendrix and Letha Floy Bramlett. Her married name was Marshall.
