     Malcolm Clarence Bird was also known as Mack. He was born in 1895. He married Creedy Elizabeth Hamilton, daughter of James M. Hamilton and Geneva S. Evatt. Malcolm Clarence Bird was buried at Duncan Cemetery, Scott County, Arkansas. He died in 1976.

     Betty Ruth Birdwell was born on 23 November 1927. She was the daughter of Henry Grady Birdwell and Yvetta Willis. Her married name was Ligon. Betty Ruth Birdwell married George Madison Ligon on 1 June 1943. Betty Ruth Birdwell died on 14 March 1991 at age 63.

     Henry Grady Birdwell was born on 11 April 1898. He married Yvetta Willis, daughter of Jessie Davis Willis and Josie Annette Gober. Henry Grady Birdwell died on 21 February 1977 at age 78.

     Mattie Maurine Birdwell was born on 14 September 1923. She was the daughter of Henry Grady Birdwell and Yvetta Willis. Her married name was Willenborg. Mattie Maurine Birdwell married William Francis Willenborg. Mattie Maurine Birdwell died on 14 April 1970 at age 46.

     Albert Allison Bishop was born on 11 September 1860. He married Leila A. Hamby, daughter of Peatus Theodore Hamby and Theresa Elizabeth A. Gober, on 31 July 1901 at Cobb County, Georgia. August 8, 1901

Mr. A. A. Bishop and Miss Leila Hamby were married on Wednesday evening, July 31st, at the Methodist parsonage by Rev. S. R. Belk. Mr. E. M. Cook was best man and Miss Louise Schilling maid of honor. The groom was a former Sheriff of this county and is well known to our people. He is a man of integrity, intelligence and industry, and stands deservedly high in the respect and confidence of our people. The bride is the lovely and accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Hamby of this place. She is a most amiable woman of many excellent graces of head and heart. The happy couple have gone to house-keeping in the home of the groom on Washington Avenue. Our best wishes for a long and happy life are extended. Albert Allison Bishop (an unknown value) on 10 October 1907 at Marietta Journal. He died on 16 August 1939 at age 78.

Herbert Patterson Bishop also went by the name of Pat. He married Lucy Valker. Herbert Patterson Bishop married Grace Medford. Herbert Patterson Bishop died on 9 January 1973 at age 59. He was buried at Kennesaw Memorial Park, Cobb County, Georgia.

Herbert (Pat) Patterson Bishop, 59, of 9124 North Fairground St. M.E., Marietta died Tuesday.
A prayer service will be 6 p.m. Thursday at the Mayes Ward Funeral Home. A prayer Cathcelebrated Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m., Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Bishop was a native and life long resident of Cobb county. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Marietta ____ Club for 20 years. He was the operator of the meat market at Dul're? for 20 years. He later owned and operated Pat's Market at Cole Street in Marietta until he retired in 1969 because of ill health. He was a former councilman of the city of Marietta in the early 1940s and was formerly married to the late Lucy Valker Bishop who died in 1970.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Medford Bishop of Marietta, one daughter, Mra. Margaret Ann Grimesy of Alexandria, VA, one son Patrick A. Bishop of Marietta, three sisters, Mrs. Stanley A. Hemp, and Mrs. C. E. Iler, both of Marietta and Mrs. M. H. LaBorie of Sarasota, Fla., one brother, Albert H. Bishop of Marietta, stepson, John F. Cantrell of Marietta, one granddaughter, Mary Carla Grimsey, three grandsons, John F. Cantrell III, Steve Cantrell and Nicolas Cantrell.

     J. D. Bishop was born. He was the son of Henry Bishop and Alma Gober. J. D. Bishop died. Drowned at age 12 years.

Though there are nominations from all over the metro area, three men from Cobb County were honored at the second annual Clergy of the Year awards dinner given by the National Conference of Christians and Jews Feb. 17 at the Hotel Nikko.
The Rev. Patrick Bishop of Transfiguration Catholic Church on Blackwell road in north Cobb, Rabbi Steven Lebow of Temple Kol Emeth on Old Canton Road, and Rabbi Shalom Lewis of Congregation Etx Chaim on Indian Hills Parkway were chosen for the honors because of their "devotion to interfaith education and dialogue and work with young people."
Rev. Bishop's parents were the late Lucy and Pat Bishop, who owned Pat's Market at Cole and Lawrence Streets in Marietta.

     Richard Allen Bishop II married Judith Bryan, daughter of Hubert Bryan and Cleo Marilyn Fish.

     Ronnie Bishop is the son of Henry Bishop and Alma Gober.

     Sarah E. Bishop was born in 1903 at Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia. She was the daughter of Albert Allison Bishop and Leila A. Hamby. Her married name was Hemp. Sarah E. Bishop married Stanley Samuel Hemp.

     Beulah Black was born on 12 April 1871. Her married name was Bramlett. She married Isom Bramlett, son of John Wesley Bramlett and Malinda Isha, on 2 June 1888 at Choctaw County, Mississippi. Beulah Black died on 14 August 1959 at Choctaw County, Mississippi, at age 88. She was buried at Crape Creek Cemetery, Choctaw County, Mississippi.

     Billie Lynn Black married Terry Clinton Gantt, son of Max Clinton Gantt and Elizabeth Irene Beasley.

     Candice Black married Gary Ray Weatherman, son of Ray Weatherman and Burnelle Reta Hardman.

     Ezra Black married Mabel Vinyard, daughter of James Iley Vinyard and Ada Lawrence, in April 1917.

     Ida Black was born in March 1889 at Georgia. Her married name was Smith. She married Jeptha Allen Smith, son of Jesse Lee Smith and Cornelia Ann Victory Anthony Thurmond.

     John Marion Black is the son of William Everett Black and Irene Sprague.

     John Samuel Black was born on 12 December 1884 at Choctaw County, Mississippi. He married Julia H. Bramlett, daughter of William Franklin Bramlett and Adeline Missouri Ward, on 16 April 1916 at Attala County, Mississippi. John Samuel Black died on 4 December 1954 at Winona, Montgomery County, Mississippi, at age 69. He was buried at Bear Creek Cemetery, Attala County, Mississippi.

     Kathryn Yvonne Black married William Howard Gober, son of William Thomas Gober and Bessie Elizabeth McAvoy, on 20 August 1954.
