He is a man of integrity, intelligence and industry, and stands deservedly high in the respect and confidence of our people. The bride is the lovely and accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Hamby of this place. She is a most amiable woman of many excellent graces of head and heart. The happy couple have gone to house-keeping in the home of the groom on Washington Avenue. Our best wishes for a long and happy life are extended. Albert Allison Bishop (an unknown value) on 10 October 1907 at Marietta Journal. He died on 16 August 1939 at age 78.

A prayer service will be 6 p.m. Thursday at the Mayes Ward Funeral Home. A prayer Cathcelebrated Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m., Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Bishop was a native and life long resident of Cobb county. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Marietta ____ Club for 20 years. He was the operator of the meat market at Dul're? for 20 years. He later owned and operated Pat's Market at Cole Street in Marietta until he retired in 1969 because of ill health. He was a former councilman of the city of Marietta in the early 1940s and was formerly married to the late Lucy Valker Bishop who died in 1970.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace Medford Bishop of Marietta, one daughter, Mra. Margaret Ann Grimesy of Alexandria, VA, one son Patrick A. Bishop of Marietta, three sisters, Mrs. Stanley A. Hemp, and Mrs. C. E. Iler, both of Marietta and Mrs. M. H. LaBorie of Sarasota, Fla., one brother, Albert H. Bishop of Marietta, stepson, John F. Cantrell of Marietta, one granddaughter, Mary Carla Grimsey, three grandsons, John F. Cantrell III, Steve Cantrell and Nicolas Cantrell.
