Gober was also known as Elijah Columbus. Elijah C. Gober was also known as Elijah Craddock No record has been found to prove what the initial "C" stands for.      Elizabeth Burns Gober was born on 5 March 1805 at Franklin County, Georgia. She was the daughter of William Gober III and Elizabeth Burns. Her married name was Gober. Elizabeth Burns Gober married Hiram White Gober, son of William Y. Gober and Frances Scurry, on 23 August 1824 at Franklin County, Georgia. Elizabeth Burns Gober was shown as Bevly on marriage license. She died on 1 May 1891 at Attala County, Mississippi, at age 86.
