Ms. Jenkins was reared in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, where she attended Arnold Grammar School and Waller High School. She was employed at Andes Candies, Inc., before moving in 1965 with her mother and step-father, H. O. “Mac” McAnally to Counce, Tennessee. Margie was a retiree of Genesco Shoe Corporation in Iuka, Mississippi. She was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church.

Ms. Jenkins departed this life on January 15, 2007 at the McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 61 years, 9 months and 26 days.

She is survived by four children, Debra Lisa McAnally of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Kimberly Ann Jenkins Caldwell of Byhalia, Mississippi, Timothy Wayne Townley of Savannah, Tennessee and Mary Ann Jenkins Davis of Bethel Springs, Tennessee.

7 grandchildren, Jennifer-Ann McAnally and Jonathan-Eric Carlyle McAnally of Bethel Springs, Tennessee, Courtney Leigh Caldwell, James Cameron Caldwell and Katherine Elizabeth Caldwell of Byhalia, Mississippi, Clinton Chase Townley and Catherine Claire Townley, both of Savannah, Tennessee.

She is survived by four siblings, Bobby Joe Gober of Counce, Tennessee, Clara Gober Tyson May of Harrisville, Mississippi, Bonnie Gober Crocker of Pearl, Mississippi and Carolyn Ruth Gober of Selmer, Tennessee.

Two aunts also survive, Rudean Curtis Seaton of Savannah, Tennessee and Ruby Gober Densmore of Greensboro, North Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents and stepfather, her brother W. T. Gober, her niece Bonnie Faye Tyson and her nephew Richard Curtis Gober.¹ She married Robert Newberry. Margie Ann Gober was born on 20 March 1945 at Pascagoula, Jackson County, Mississippi. She was the daughter of William Noonan Gober and Raney Lee Belle Curtis. Her married name was Jenkins. Margie Ann Gober married James William Jenkins in May 1968. Margie Ann Gober was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church. She was baptized 1977 on Easter Sunday in the Tennessee River. She was a shoe cutter. Retired after 17 years with Genesco Shoe Factory in Iuka, Tishomingo County, Mississippi. She is now disabled and lives in Counce, Hardin County, Tennessee. She died on 15 January 2007 at Selmer, McNairy County, Tennessee, at age 61.¹

     Margie Delia Gober was born in September 1891 at Georgia.¹ She was the daughter of John Richard Gober and Margaret Delia Holbrook. Her married name was Andrews. Margie Delia Gober married James Andrews. Her married name was Timms. Margie Delia Gober married Virgil Timms. Margie Delia Gober died in August 1977 at California at age 85. She was buried at Bakersfield, Kern County, California.

     Margie Isabell Gober was born on 10 March 1927 at Tishomingo County, Mississippi. She was the daughter of James Harve Gober Sr. and Mary Emmaline Floyd. Margie Isabell Gober died on 15 September 1927 at Tishomingo County, Mississippi, of a brain hemorrhage.
