She was employed by First National Bank in Frederick for 12 years prior to retiring in 1977. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and First Baptist Church in Frederick.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Carol Lynne and Bobby Bagwell, Frederick; two grandchildren: Danna Akin and Bryan Bagwell, both of Frederick, nine nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers Meredith and Merril Gober.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
