He married Elizabeth Arendall, daughter of Nathan Arendall and Susannah Fanning, on 22 December 1814 at Franklin County, Georgia.⁴ Daniel Gober was a Justice of the Peace on 13 July 1833 at DeKalb County, Georgia.⁵ Daniel Gober received at Grant No. 1012 for 195.45 acres of land, Fayette County, Tennessee, on 10 January 1845. He left a will on 21 September 1864 at Drew County, Arkansas. In the name of God, Amen. I, Daniel Gober, of Drew County in the State of Arkansas, do make and ordain this my last will and testament; revoking any and all testamentary dispositions by me heretofore made.
lst I give and devise to my wife, Elizabeth, for and during her natural life my real and personal estate. At her death all the property both real and personal to be equally divided between all my children with the exception of William Roland, Susanna Mahuldy and Sarah Amanda, are to receive four hundred dollars each before the division of the property takes place and they they viz: (Wm R. S. M. and S. A.) are to receive an equal portion with the other heirs.
2nd I give and devise the property that fall to my daughters to them and their bodily heirs to have and to hold forever.
3rd In the event that my grand daughter Cuba Harp Reid should die without heir, that her portion of my estate revert to my other children and be legally divided among them.

He and Mary Medcalf sold on 5 June 1847 at Bedford County, Tennessee, to Isaac Troxler a slave woman, Vinah. Daniel Gober died after 1880.
