He married Jennie Elder _________. Roland Gustavus Deener died on 1 October 1917 at Prairie County, Arkansas, at age 65. He was buried at Hickory Plains Cemetery, Hickory Plains, Prairie County, Arkansas.

     Sarah O. Deener was born on 10 January 1857 at Fayette County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Thomas W. Deener and Susanna Mahuldy Gober. Her married name was Moore. Sarah O. Deener married James W. Moore on 9 August 1876 at Prairie County, Arkansas.² Sarah O. Deener died on 20 December 1881 at Prairie County, Arkansas, at age 24. She was buried at Hickory Plains Cemetery, Hickory Plains, Prairie County, Arkansas.

     Tabitha Deener was born in 1849 at Fayette County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Thomas W. Deener and Susanna Mahuldy Gober. Tabitha Deener died died young.

     Thomas W. Deener was born on 1 January 1820 at Virginia. He married Susanna Mahuldy Gober, daughter of Daniel Gober and Elizabeth Arendall, on 23 November 1848 at Fayette County, Tennessee. Thomas W. Deener was operated Livery Stable, farmer. He died on 16 October 1872 at Prairie County, Arkansas, at age 52. He was buried at Hickory Plains Cemetery, Hickory Plains, Prairie County, Arkansas.³
